Prerequisites

  • Completed NSW Higher School Certificate or equivalent (If you’re under 18 at the time of course commencement, you may be required to participate in an interview) OR
  • Be 21 years or over at course commencement

First Aid Training

This course requires first aid training as part of the curriculum. If you’ve previously completed a first aid course that which meets the requirements of the diploma you’ll receive credit for this.

Study requirements

You will be required to undertake clinical training which you can do at ACNT’s Sydney or Brisbane campus'. If you’re studying via distance education and you live outside of Sydney or Brisbane, you can undertake your training at an approved local clinic or practice

If you're interested in distance learning you will need to have:

  • access to a computer with internet and video recording facilities
  • discussed your clinical placement with a course advisor prior to commencing the course
  • access to an independent professional who can provide exam supervision.
