Certification Requirements

As part of the pre-requisites for this course, you must have:

• At least 7500 hours (or five years) of business analysis experience within the last 10 years, engaged in tasks related to the knowledge areas as defined within the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK) Guide®
• At least 900 hours (or six months) of business analysis work experience engaged in tasks related to the knowledge areas as defined within the BABOK Guide® in at least four of the six knowledge areas
• High school education or equivalent
• 21 hours of professional development in the last four years, in a subject matter directly related to business analysis or its underlying competencies
• Two references from a career manager, client or Certified Business Analysis Professional, indicating that you are a suitable candidate for CBAP certification
