Learn Both the Craft and the Business
JMC Academy's audio engineering degree courses provide you with in-depth knowledge of the audio production industry, including production, editing, recording and mixing.
Both the Bachelor of Creative Technology (Audio Engineering and Sound Production) and the Associate Degree of Audio Engineering and Sound Production provide you with skills in:
- Analogue and digital recording
- Live PA
- Surround sound
- Post production for television and video
- Acoustic design
- Electronics
- Music editing
- Midi sequencing
- Location recording
JMC Academy's audio engineering courses also cover the business aspects of the industry through studies in copyright law, music literacy, communication and music publishing, so you graduate with the business principles required in the real world.

Not Ready for a Full Degree Program?
If you are not yet ready to start a full degree program in audio engineering, you can choose to start your studies in the Diploma of Audio Engineering & Sound Production . Also eligible for FEE-HELP and Austudy, the Diploma of Audio Engineering & Sound Production program leads directly in to the Associate and Bachelor degree programs - so you can choose to continue your studies at degree level.
Progress to Master's Level
Students who complete the JMC Academy Bachelor Degree qualify for entry into postgraduate degree courses at Australian universities, and can articulate directly into the Master of Design Science (Audio Engineering) at the University of Sydney and the Master of Recording Arts at Macquarie University.
