It requires a familiarity with the latest in technologies and music software, and an awareness of music's important role in entertainment arenas such as media, movies and advertising.
Both the Bachelor of Entertainment (Popular Music and Performance) and the Associate Degree of Popular Music and Performance provide you with skills in:

As a performing arts student at JMC Academy, you'll be encouraged to explore your own creativity and performance limits. And you'll enjoy numerous opportunities to apply your skills in a variety of practical situations, including working professionally in an ensemble fashion throughout the course, four performance evenings each semester, and an awards/showcase performance night at the end of each year.

Not Ready for a Full Degree Program?
If you are not yet ready to start a full degree program in popular music and performance or performing arts, you can choose to start your studies in the Diploma of Popular Music and Performance . Also eligible for FEE-HELP and Austudy, the Diploma of Popular Music and Performance program leads directly in to the Associate and Bachelor degree programs - so you can choose to continue your studies at degree level.
