Gain Specialist Teaching Skills to Shape Young Lives

A career in early childhood development can be immensely satisfying and rewarding. Curtin's Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) gives you the recognised qualification and professional skills you need to get started in this highly specialised field.

This education course includes four units of practical experience in early learning centres and schools, where you'll get the opportunity to put your learning into practice. Please note that you will be required to complete a Working with Children check and have police clearance before undertaking your work placement.

You'll graduate with the knowledge, skills and experience necessary to teach children from birth to eight years in early childhood centres, pre-schools and in primary classes.

You'll also be eligible for registration with the West Australia College of Teachers (WACOT). This registration is recognised by all national teacher accreditation authorities.
