Master of Policing, Intelligence, Terrorism & Counter Terrorism
Course delivered by Macquarie University
|
Course Overview
Few issues have headlined more often in recent years than terrorism. Perpetrators of political violence know they're capable of upsetting the balance of international power, quickly and efficiently, by employing increasingly advanced and innovative methods of attack. And - as ever - they're very motivated to do so.
One of the keys to combating terrorism is knowledge, such as that gained with a Master of Policing, Intelligence, Terrorism & Counter Terrorism. The course deals directly with the fundamental questions of what is terrorism, what motivates it and how can it be prevented or countered? It also looks at the problem indirectly, such as the roles played by technology and the media.
If you want to use knowledge to make a difference and you already have a degree from a recognised institution (or minimum five years' relevant experience), the Master of Policing, Intelligence, Terrorism & Counter Terrorism is a very powerful and effective addition to your intellectual arsenal.
