It was a great experience completing this course at RMIT as there was constant support from Professors and tutors. The RMIT online library is fantastic, teaching materials, slides and explanations are insightful and informative. There were plenty of opportunities to ask questions, clarify understanding and learn from experts. The focus on critical social work and learning about Australia’s First Peoples’ history in depth was refreshing. I would strongly recommend this course.

The Master of Engineering (Aerospace) degree program at RMIT University was exceptional in its study curriculum, providing an optimal combination of theoretical and hands-on project-based learning assignments to apply the learned content in a practical, problem-solving manner. Core courses were very much related to future industry objectives and pertained to sub-disciplines such as aircraft design methodologies, aerospace propulsion systems, lightweight composite materials and structures, eco-friendly considerations within the aerospace and aviation industries (i.e., high-bypass turbofan engine development, sustainable aviation fuel, etc) and much more. Throughout the program, students were also given a high degree of flexibility in choosing elective courses that were most relevant to their career aspirations in the future aerospace industry and professors were very much accommodative and responsive when it comes to assisting with the student learning process and resolving any doubts in the coursework. Additionally, aside from academics alone, the university also provides an inclusive community that celebrates a diverse culture and encourages extra-curricular activities via student unions (RUSU), clubs, and events. During the pandemic, there was a seamless transition to online learning using platforms such as Canvas CollaborateUltra and Microsoft Teams, which made for a smooth experience, where students still had the abilities to interact and ask questions to the professor just like in an actual classroom. Moreover, the workload was extremely well spaced out and thereby gave students ample time to critically reflect upon and succeed in their assignments. I highly appreciate RMIT University for its degree program and would recommend this to other aspiring engineer seeking a revolutionary educational experience.
