Ensure safety in the workplace with this Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (WHS).

This course replaces the Certificate IV in Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S).

It will teach you how to identify hazards, assess and control risk, and consult on Work Health and Safety issues. You'll be qualified to work as a Safety Officer, WHS Workplace Supervisor or WorkCover WHS Course Trainer.

This industry is expanding rapidly with the introduction of new Work Health and Safety (WHS) laws, and there is is a wealth of job opportunities.

  • Assist with Compliance with WHS Laws
  • Contribute to the Implementing and maintaining WHS Consultation and participation processes

Prerequisites

Preferred pathways into this course are:

  • Certificate III in WHS or Certificate III from another industry
  • Work experience in the health and safety industry
