If you've always wanted to work with young people or already do and just want your skills formally recognised with a qualification, this course is for you.
The Certificate IV in Youth Work covers workers who develop community based programs designed to address the social, behavioural, health, welfare, developmental and protection needs of young people.
You will be trained in communicating effectively with young people, building and maintaining relationships with clients and assisting young people to identify the challenges and opportunities in their lives. You can explore a wide range of roles with this qualification including a youth case worker, residential care worker and indigenous youth worker.
This course is done entirely online so you can tailor your studies to suit your needs.
This course also includes a compulsory workplace component to give you on the job practical experience to ensure you’re confident to head into the workplace upon completion of your studies.
