I thought the course was very well set up, and covered a lot of elements of illustration from practical drawing to industry knowledge. I also enjoyed being taught by my lecturers -they were very friendly and empathetic, and knowledgeable about the field (having worked as professional graphic designers/illustrators themselves), and the intimacy of my course overall. I personally found keeping up with the assignments quite hard, as it was very dependent on further independent study as well as classes. But the fact that there was essentially 15 contact hours a week helps balance student's time. I think this is the ideal course for those looking to study illustration specifically (there's not many degree-offering illustration courses in general, it's quite niche) - it gives you a well rounded understanding of every aspect - digital, hand drawn skills, design, context/history, and industry preparation.
